Sun at 0º Libra on September 23rd at 09.52AM: It is Libra time and that means a focus on human relationships, both personal and international. I have to say that as with many of you, I am not encouraged by anything to do with international politics these days and very encouraged by so many efforts that are being made to help heal our planet from the effects of human ignorance and selfishness, i.e. global warming. It is too late to avoid some definite ecological tragedies (some of which have already happened and others which are in “the planning stage”). But it is not too late to bring healing and hope to future generations.

One of the most important dynamics of the Aquarian Age is Right Human Relationships. Let’s remember that in that portion of the Ancient Wisdom Teachings concerning astrology we are taught that Uranus is the soul-centered ruler of Libra. Thus the unfolding of the nature of the human soul (whose quality and “breath of life” is consciousness) takes place in terms of relationships that are group oriented and that the greatest of these groups, the most collective is humanity itself. Learning to act as individuated souls with the well being of the collective in both mind and heart is the hallmark of the evolved man or woman of these times.

Finally, Aquarius is a sign of the Fifth Ray of science and technology. The purpose therefore of the present genre of technology, one that is geared to create instantaneous communication and thus facilitate all human networking possibilities is to allow Jupiter to flourish on the soul level via Uranus and Aquarius on the level of the personality. In this respect, the plethora of “webmatch, dating sites” notwithstanding, the tools for the exteriorization of conscious loving unity among all men and woman is very much available to us. May we all enjoy our Libra month together!

Mercury 0º Scorpio on September 27th at 05.19PM: When the “Little Herm” finds himself in Pluto’s waters, he swims more deeply than his normal Gemini-ruled inclinations permit. He can now probe the depths of his interests, do some necessary research, and seek out reasons as to why things are as they are and not just blow things off and go on to the next mini-adventure. When he is in the shallower but far more immediately turbulent waters of Mars, his tongue may turn sharp and at times becom1e vindictive. No doubt being Mercury, he will follow both paths.

Mars 0º Cancer on September 28th at 11.56PM: The entry of Mars into its astrological “fall” can point to more domestic challenges both on personal and national levels. Mars in this sign is inverted—i.e. it terms its aggression inwards and creates a lot of subjective turbulence. When used positively, it points to focussing a lot of our attention on home oriented situations and using our sense of justice and fair play (two of the higher qualities of Mars) on issues close to us.

Venus trine Pluto at 26º Leo/Sagittarius on October 3rd: This can be a most beneficial transit in terms of augmentation of wealth. But this richness is not limited to money when in these two fiery signs as Leo/Sag can easily point to a wealth of creative possibilities within relationships. In your personal chart, look to see if you have anything important at 25-27º of the fire triplicity or 25-27º Libra to benefit most from this planetary interplay.

Jupiter square Uranus at 15.35 Sagittarius/Pisces at 6.25PM on October 9th: The date given is the day of exactitude but this square should be in effect during the first two weeks of the month. It is a planetary combination that we can easily associate with religious extremism and the tensions which arrives from exaggerating the so-called “spirituality” of any faiths and doctrines. In the current “religiopolitical” climate of our times, this square will not prove very helpful.

Mercury retrograde at 9.04 Scorpio at 04.01AM on October 12th until November 1st at 11.00PM when he turns direct at 23.23 Libra.

Venus conjunct Saturn at 4.53 Virgo on October 14th followed on the 15th with Venus conjoined the southern node: Should 4-5º of Virgo/Pisces and to a somewhat lesser extent to these degrees in Gemini/Sagittarius be prominent in the personal natal chart, these are not the best aspects for harmonious interchanges in the workplace, nor are they particular good for financial duties and obligations. At best, they make us super aware of what needs to be healed and fixed in these areas of life. On the collective level, these aspects could be an indication of a downturn in the stock markets of the world during these days.

Saturn conjunct the southern node at 5.45 Virgo on October 23rd: Once again, this is the date of exactitude for this transit but one can consider the period of October 14-23 as being affected by this conjunction. On a personal level 5-6º of the mutable signs are the most affected and afflicted by this combination and point to challenges in the workplace with superiors. If the natal Saturn and the placements of the nodes connect with the 6th House of the chart, health issues are likely to arise. On collective and governmental levels, problematic issues surrounding health care are in the spotlight for examination and legislation (and hopefully repair and improvement!).
