A Brief Reflection on the effects of Mars-Pluto

Most of us come into incarnation as rough, unpolished, and certainly unconscious “stones.” During the natural course of life, we are forced to work on our stone—pressurizing it with consciousness and thus transforming it into a faceted gem. It becomes the jewel of our personality, and brightly shines. It is creative, admired, magnetic, powerful, and even sexy! And then, just at its peak of polished expression, we experience the need to place this jewel under the direction of a Carver of a Higher Will, the Soul. The Soul will then work additional facets onto the face of our gemstone, deeper and more subtle ones, capable of reflecting a purer Light. This process will require on our part the undertaking of those crises of reorientation that mark the Path of Initiation. –A.O.
