There are two umbilical cords and they are both active throughout our lives. The first links us to Mommy and our instinctual psychological patterns of survival, nurturing, and in effect keeps us tied to the past. The other of these two is a link of Life, binding us “vertically” to the Mother. The first at best creates a strong foundation for life on Earth but at worst it stimulates fear and apprehension. The second of these cords gives us life as revealed through our soul, the vehicle of our consciousness and nurtures us into individuation and freedom. In this talk, Alan reveals the nature and quality of both of these umbilical cords in the natal chart.
