It is with great pleasure that I announce our voyage
to some of the most beautiful sacred sites of Ancient Greece. Highlights on this incredible journey include: the great Palace of Minos on Crete, the islands of Rhodes and Aegina, the Temples of Delphi, and of course the Acropolis of Athens. As we cross the centuries, we will be traveling by hydrofoil, plane, private coach and cruise over night by ship. Our hotels are lovely and the foods and wines—well Greek cuisine is one of the world’s best.
Throughout our Odyssey we will be accompanied by expert guides who are aware of
our particular interests in things metaphysical, historical, astrological, and mythological. In addition, Alan will be regularly holding teaching sessions relative to the personal development of consciousness and the astrological significance of events. He will be assisted on this tour by a fellow teacher at the Quiron School of Astrology in Lisbon and dedicated student of the Ancient Wisdom Teachings, Nuno Michaels and his fiancée, Patricia. (Only a few places remain, so act now!)
Day 1: September 27—Athens
We will be meeting at 6:00 pm for drinks and light refreshments and our opening “get together” at the newly refurbished 4-Star Hotel Amalia in the heart of Athens. Dinner will follow in the tradional Plaka District in the old city where night time views of the illuminated Parthenon welcome us to Greece.
Day 2: September 28—Athens
After breakfast we will be conducted on a coach tour of Athens with guided visits to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the ancient Agora, and the Acropolis. Day 3: September 29—Delphi-Eleusis

Here we will find the site of the Delphic Oracle and the Temple of Apollo, seat of the “eternal flame.” On the way we will be visiting Eleusis where the cult of the goddess Demeter existed and where the Cave of Pluto is to be found. Eleusis is also the birthplace of the famous orator and poet, Aeschylus. We will also be stopping at Perahora, located near the Gulf of Corinth where the ancient shrine of Hera was placed and visit Ancient Corinth itself. Along the way, Alan will be giving a teaching. A lunch stop (at our own choice) is schedule and a group dinner will be served at our hotel, the Amalia, known for its amazing views
Day 4: September 30—Delphi-Arachova

Once we arrive at Piraeus it is a easy 45 minute ride on the hydrofoil to the small island of Aegina, inhabited since 2000 BC, it was once the rival of Athens in terms of its shipping powers. Today it is the home of sponge fisheries and pistachio nut farms. Our home for two nights is the beautiful sea-side Hotel Apollo.
