B.A. in Romance Languages and Linguistics, New York University
Alan lectures in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. He is also conversationally fluent in German and Indonesian and has a foundational knowledge of the Scandinavian languages.
Alan began his astrological and metaphysical studies in 1967 and has been an internationally known speaker, teacher, and lecturer for nearly 40 years. He is a devoted and profound student of the Tibetan Master, D.K. and is especially versed in esoteric astrology and the Ancient Wisdom Teachings. His books have been published in a dozen languages. Alan has made frequent appearances on radio and television all over the world. After having lived in Lisbon, Portugal for several years, he currently resides in Bali, Indonesia.

Since the mid-1970’s, Alan Oken has lectured and taught widely both in the USA and abroad. He has spoken in over 30 countries and almost all of the 50 United States.
